Redemptorist Brother Gerry Patin’s soaps are handmade with natural ingredients and use honey and beeswax collected from his own beehives.
Honey is beneficial to the body in many ways. On the skin, it helps retain moisture, contributing to soft, supple skin. It can also be used instead of alpha hydroxy masks because it contains a high percentage of acid but is gentle on the skin. Honey also has germ fighting qualities that make it a natural antiseptic, another important property to consider when cleansing your skin and combating disorders such as acne.
The soaps may contain some or all of the following: saponified oils of coconut oil, olive oil, soy oil or lard, fragrance and toasted oatmeal.
All proceeds from the sale of these soaps benefit the Seelos Shrine and St. Clement-Redemptorist Community.
